Lib Dems will Cut Class Sizes by boosting Education Funding

"Only when we get education funding back on track will be able to give all our children the fair start they deserve," says Andy Stamp the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Gillingham and Rainham.

To give every child a fair start in life, the Liberal Democrats will spend an extra £2.5bn on schools, guaranteeing them the money they need to support children who are struggling. It will be targeted at schools that take on children who need more help and can be used to ensure all pupils get the individual attention they need by cutting class sizes.

Andy said: "Under our plans, Medway's schools would get an extra £12,302,880 which they could use to cut class sizes and provide more individual support.

"With the current unfairness in Labour's education funding it's no surprise there is such a gap in achievement between children from the poorest backgrounds and those families who are better off. Only when we get education funding back on track will be able to give all our children the fair start they deserve."
